Custom Baseball Gloves

If you are a coach, you already realize it is hard enough to build a team in youth sports. Involved parents, some too involved and implying you may need their help in coaching their kids. It’s tough to build a team and take the kids away from the parents. That’s why customized gloves and batting helmets often detract from what you are trying to accomplish. Too many individuals can’t form a team and more customization means more individuals.

if you are a parent, consider that helping your young player develop into an athlete and young man should be paramount in your mind. Hopefully, you have a good coach, one who is disciplined and knowledgeable about all things baseball and about kids. If you have such a person, leave him alone.

Let him coach your kids because forming a team in critical to your son’s development as an athlete. If you let your young player convince you that he needs a customized baseball glove, have him offer the proof first. If he is playing constantly at a very high level, he may deserve some custom features, but remember there always older kids and your son will have to eventually play at every level if he continues with the game. At each level he will also have to prove himself and it’s better to teach them early that they can’t hide behind fancy gloves.

Even the best baseball has to offer cannot have athletes with gear more impressive than they are. If you’re a punk with a bad attitude and selfish demeanor, a flashy glove doesn’t change who you are. If you think it offers self confidence, you are mistaken.
